Buy a Wii Fit Plus to lose weight for summer?

Ok, so I want to get into shape and lose weight as fast as possible. I bought the Nintendo Wii back in November and really liked the Wii Sports that came with it, especially the training/fitness test feature. I’ve heard of people using the Wii to get more active and exercise, and many have lost a lot of weight. Is the 0 for the Wii Fit Plus & Balance Board worth the investment or should I look at other options? The idea of working out and having fun at the same time appeals to me and I can do it right at home so I would like to give it a try, but I would like to know that I am going to see some results.
I did go on a "diet" plan earlier in the spring this year, I lost 15 pounds and have stayed at that weight, so I’m wanting to try something that will help get more of the weight off. I still have eating habits to change and that sort of thing, but its the exercise/activity that I need to turn up a notch.
